The ultrasonic flowmeter is a state-of-the-art universal transit-timeFlowmeter designed using FPGA chip and low voltage broadband pulsetransmission.,available for measuring water.

Daily, monthly and yearly totalized flow: Totalized flow for the last 64days and months as well as for the last 5 years are may be viewed.Power on/off function: allows the viewing of time and flow rate aspower is switched on and off 64 times. Also, the Flowmeter has manualor automatic amendment during offline sessions.
Parallel operation of positive, negative and net flow totalizes withscale factor (span) and 7 digit display, while the output of totalize pulseand frequency output are transmitted via open collector.

INSTALLATION SITESELECTION

When selecting a measurementsite, it is important to select anarea where the fluid flow profileis fully developed to guarantee ahighly accurate measurement.Use the following guidelines toselect a proper installation site:
Choose a section of pipe that isalways full of liquid, such as avertical pipe with flow in theupward direction or a fullhorizontal pipe.
Ensure enough straight pipelength at least equal to the figureshown below for the upstreamand downstream transducersinstallation.
Ensure that the pipe surfacetemperature at the measuringpoint is within the transducertemperature limits.
Consider the inside condition ofthe pipe carefully. If possible,select a section of pipe where theinside is free of excessivecorrosion or scaling.
